Roselly Monegro is a Latina lettering and illustration artist born in the Dominican Republic, and currently living in Los Angeles, California. She creates whimsical, colorful art for clients around the world.

Originally from the Advertising world, in 2015 Roselly fell in love with the art of lettering and what started out as a hobby eventually turned into her full-time freelance business.

By 2019, The Inking Rose was born, and since then Roselly has collaborated with amazing brands including Coach, Prudential, LA Times, Washington Post, Oatly, and Planned Parenthood, among many others.

Roselly's work is always evolving as she continues to push her limits, hone her skills, and explore her path as a self-taught artist. Recently, she dipped her toes into the world of art licensing and her greeting card designs can be found in places like Trader Joe's, Ricicle cards, Scribbler, and Liberty London.

Roselly enjoys working on custom projects from editorial illustrations to murals, she's passionate about helping brands transform their ideas into compelling visuals.

Her work is mostly known for her happy, whimsical, colorful illustrations with organic shapes, playful lettering, and the use of grainy textures while embracing the imperfections that come from creating by hand. Her art is inspired by the daily moments in life and her feelings, often times around themes of self-love, and well-being. She uses art as a form of self-expression, creating pieces with messages that people can relate to. Her goal is to uplift others with her art, and help them feel less alone.
