YouTube’s Holiday House Party | Live Lettering Event

Last week, I got to bring my lettering to YouTube’s Holiday House Party at Google’s offices in Playa Vista, Los Angeles, and it was such a fun project!

My team and I were there painting colorful monogram initials on leather pouches for creators attending the event. We used acrylic paint and brushes to turn each pouch into a little personalized keepsake.

150 pouches. Four hours. Lots of colorful letters!

Live personalization events are always a little bit of a creative puzzle. You want to make something beautiful while keeping things moving, especially when there are lots of guests waiting for their personalized goodies. Having an amazing team of artists by my side made all the difference, and I’m so grateful for their talent, teamwork, and great energy throughout the event.

As a lettering artist, I love seeing how something as simple as a few letters can transform an everyday object into something personal. I’m always looking for ways to bring hand-drawn lettering into unexpected places, whether that’s on products, packaging, accessories, or live experiences.

That’s one of my favorite things about working on brand activations. Art gets to become part of someone’s experience. Guests get to watch the process, see their initials come to life, and take home something made just for them.

A big thank you to YouTube for having me be part of Holiday House! And thank you to the event agency and their incredible creative team for collaborating with me to bring this live personalization experience to life. Special shoutout to Patrick Crook for working with me on the entire process.

Together, we created colorful, hand-painted block-letter monograms on leather pouches for creators to take home as personalized keepsakes. We painted 150 colorful monograms in just four hours! A special thank you to my wonderful dream team of artists, Alex, Joanna, and Stacy, for bringing your talent, creativity, and amazing energy to this event. I couldn’t have done it without you!
